After breakfast, we'll ride in our private air-conditioned cars to Aswan, where we'll visit the High Dam. The High Dam is a vital structure that protected Egypt from droughts and famines resulting from successive floods. From 1979 to 1987, approximately 70 billion cubic meters of the reservoir were withdrawn from the High Dam Lake to compensate for the annual deficit in the natural revenue of the Nile River.
Next, we'll visit the Unfinished Obelisk, which is believed to be the largest obelisk in Egypt and was commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut. Although it's incomplete, some opinions suggest that it was carved to be evidence of the queen's strength and solidity.
Finally, we'll end our tour in Aswan by sailing to the Nubian Village, The people of the village showcase their culture, customs, and traditions, preserving their Nubian environment in form and subject matter. It's considered one of the most enjoyable destinations in all of Egypt.
We'll then return to the hotel in Luxor, where you'll have breakfast, lunch, and dinner as planned in our program.
